About
Greetings, human beings! I’m a UX/UI designer based in Austin, TX. I design with empathy, clarity, and a strong focus on balancing user needs with business goals. I trained through CareerFoundry and bring experience from both freelance work with small businesses and four years in a corporate design environment.
Before UX, I spent a decade teaching. Understanding students, adapting to their needs, and removing barriers to learning naturally evolved into understanding users and improving digital experiences. I collaborated with educators nationwide, developed curriculum, led meetings, and interviewed future teachers, all of which strengthened my communication and research skills.
In my current work, I’ve been integrating AI‑powered tools to enhance research, ideation, and efficiency. It’s exciting to see how AI is progressing in society and how it can elevate the work we do meanwhile still preserving the human touch, intuition, and craftsmanship that guide my design decisions.
Outside of design, I’m playing D&D, board games, or Repo on Steam, LARPing with foam swords, climbing, kayaking, eating spicy food, gardening, sew and creating medieval appliqué clothing, which keeps my hands busy and my creativity flowing. Travel is a huge part of my life. Whether it’s a major city or a quiet corner of the world, I’m always eager to explore, learn, and see more of what’s out there.
